Trent, Spain's Inditex Tie Up For Retail Fashion Business

Trent Ltd, the retail arm of the Tata Group, has formed a 51:49 joint venture (JV) with Inditex Group, a fashion retailer from Spain, in order to develop and promote Zara stores in India.rnAs part of the memorandum of understanding (MoU), Inditex will hold 51 % in the JV, while Trent Ltd will hold 49%. The first of the stores will be opened in 2010 in New Delhi, Mumbai and other major cities of India.
