Italian ski glove and accessory specialist Level teamed up with Norwegian world class ski champion Aksel Lund Svindal to create the new Aksel Pro professional racing glove employing Gore 2 in 1 technology. It was developed to meet the skier's need for maximum protection of the hands and forearms in the Slalom and Giant Slalom and is highly protective, with a total of 28 exclusive technical solutions geared to safeguard and protect the fingers, wrists and upper limbs. The Gore 2 in 1 system provides a double chamber, the first a sensitive, close-fitting solution for maximum tactility and dexterity and the other for warmth and comfort, with insulation provided by Primaloft. The principal requirement for the glove, however, was maximum reinforcement of the back to protect the skier's hands and forearms from the violent blows caused by ever increasing speed. The glove features a large forearm protector, adjustable by a strap and removable thanks to the small Allen screws which attach it to the main body of the glove. There are also no fewer than 13 other small protective plates which guard the most critical areas of the skier's hand.
