Dornbirn-MFC promotes international collaboration

Around 800 researchers and technicians from 30 nations will come together at the 55th Dornbirn Man-Made Fibres Congress in Austria this September, to form what organisers are calling an "innovation network". Like every year, Dornbirn-MFC 2016 will focus on sustainability, with everything from the lectures to the catering adopting a suitable green theme. Organised by the Austrian Man-Made Fibers Institute on a non-profit basis, Dornbirn-MFC receives the backing of sponsors old and new, including the province of Vorarlberg, the city of Dornbirn, cellulose fibre producer Lenzing AG, the associations CIRFS and IVC, and the European Association of nonwovens producers (EDANA).
