Embracing change

摘要

The pace of change in supply chains is rapid, owing to a sensitivity to environmental conditions, economics, consumerism and culture. Arguably, there have been few times where all these factors have been transformed by one sole cause. Difficult as it may be to put a positive spin on the Covid-19 pandemic (the debris left in the wake of the ongoing crisis has been disastrous for so many) it continues to highlight the opacity of the supply chain. Consequently, it shines a spotlight on textile & apparel industry inefficiencies, its unsustainable practices and complete lack of transparency or traceability.
