Separately, Teijin has launched the first programme in China for collecting and recycling used garments, in collaboration with Li Ning, the nation's leading sports apparel company.Recycling will be carried out with Eco Circle, a closed-loop system incorporatingthe world's first technology for the chemical recycling of polyester.Li Ning has designed tennis and training wear using Teijin's chemically recycled Eco Circle fibres, which are woven into textiles and dyed by Nantong Teijin. The products are being sold at 11 Li Ning stores.
