CITI-CDRA cotton development projects in Rajasthan districts

CITI-Cotton Development and Research Association (CITI-CDRA) has expanded its development and extension activities in Rajasthan in the current year. While continuing its frontline demonstration programme sponsored by the Directorate of Cotton Development under the Union Ministry of Agriculture in Banswara and Bhilwara districts taken up for the first time during the previous year, it has extended the area under the Collaborative Project (CP) to enhance productivity of cotton in these districts, by bringing additional 25,000 acres. Now the CP would cover an area of 50,000 acres - 24,500 acres in Banswara, 17,500 acres in Bhilwara and the remaining 8,000 acres in Ra-jsamand district.
