Textile and Apparel Industry - Bulgaria

The textile and apparel production has a long track record in Bulgaria. The proximity to Europe, the high quality labourforce and the traditions in this sector have already shown foreign companies the benefits of investing in Bulgaria. The industry has two component parts, primary production, otherwise the textile industry, and secondary production, otherwise the apparel or garment industry. The textile industry is composed of the following activities: 1. spinning, 2. weaving, 3. knitting 4. printing 5. dyeing and wet finishing.
