Top High Street fashion guru Kate Bostock opened the University of Derby's annual graduate fashion show in June.rnThe director of clothing at Marks and Spencer, Ms Bostock, opened thernshow at the Assembly Rooms, Market Place, Derby, on 4 June.rnMs Bostock, who now lives in Leicestershire, studied fashion at Derby College, completing her studies in 1976, before building her reputation as a top fashion designer and then landing one of the biggest jobs in UK fashion in 2004.rnMs Bostock said: "I am very flattered to have been invited to open the fashion show at Derby, meet staff and students and see some of the designs. Marks and Spencer are always on the look out for new talent so you never know - it is a good chance for the students to impress."rnThe fashion show is the end-of-year opportunity for 35 BA (Hons) Fashion Studies students to showcase the work they have produced for their final year independent study.
