In an unusual wireless industry dispute, CTIA and AT&T Mobility LLC are disagreeing about whether the U.S. Supreme Court should review an appeals court decision upholding a lower court arbitration decision against T-Mobile USA, Inc. The trade group and carrier recently filed amicus curiae briefs with the high court in response to T-Mobile's petition for a writ of certiorari asking the high court to reverse a decision by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit (San Francisco). But while CTIA supported T-Mobile's petition, AT&T filed its brief in support of neither party in the case and said the Supreme Court should deny T-Mobile's appeal.
