Pai Urges State Lawmakers To Cooperate in IP Trials

FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai in a Dec. 6 speech urged state lawmakers to "cooperate" with the FCC and telcos that participate in trials of all-IP (Internet protocol) networks. "States that host these trials will be in the vanguard of the all-IP future and will be well positioned to seize the opportunities it will bring, from job creation to better services for consumers," Commissioner Pai told members of the Communications and Technology Task Force of the American Legislative Exchange Council, which supports free markets, limited government, and federalism.
