PTC-220, a railroad industry consortium, said in a positive train control (PTC) implementation progress report filed with the FCC recently that progress has been made in the past six months on addressing interference issues in the Northeast Corridor, but it cited difficulties along the U.S. border with Mexico due to the failure of the countries to finalize a cross-border agreement.
