摘要

One of the important questions of modern radio physics, viz. Analysis of the most efficient methods to study miorowave heating of thin-walled weveguides is considered. Several methods are applied to solve a problem of practical interest, specifically, the determination of the steady-state temperature field over a 20 μp constantan narrow wall of a 120x57 mm mismatched H_10 -mode with a mean power of 20 kW. These are the Fourier and Laplace- transform methods, variational and numerical techniques, and the method of finite-integral transformations. Advantages and shortcomings of each are considered, all to be taken into account in optimum design of transmission-type measuring power transducers.
