But Microsoft's played an impressive 'hand' with their latest ARC mouse. It simply folds up to reduce the size by half. The folding action also acts as a switch, turning off the power when folded and therefore conserving battery. When unfolded, it feels just like a regular size mouse and that's the beauty of it! It may remind you of the sleek gadgets that you see in the Bond movies. It's a standard three-button mouse with scroll wheel. The top sports a glossy black finish and the bottom is silver colored. The small USB transceiver stows away under the 'arc' magnetically. Connecting it is easy; just insert the USB transceiver to an available USB port on a desktop or laptop and you'll be good to go in a few seconds.
