A RSS is short for Really Simple Syndication. Very simply, it's a way of delivering content that is constantly updated-like news. Most new browsers have built in support for RSS feeds. In effect, once you subscribe to all the RSS feeds you want (could be news, games, entertainment, whatever!); you'll have created a customized news channel for yourself. Most of these RSS readers will update in the background once you're connected to the net. It's not a bandwidth hog, so you won't notice a difference in browsing speed. Then, once you've read a news piece and you like it, you can click the link (usually provided) to read the complete story and see more photos.
