Q.I want to get rid of my cable connection and buy a DTH connection. I was about to opt between TataSky and Airtel Digital TV, but now the Airtel Digital TV Interactive also seems to be promising. l am confused which one should l go for? A.DTH connections are basically a setup wherein you get a small dish installed at your home and when connected to the TV through a set top box, you get crystal clear picture and sound quality. Airtel Digital TV Interactive is what is known as IPTV which is different from DTH. In DTH you only get television and is entirely separate from your telephone and broadband connections. But IPTV is the technology wherein through a single wire you get television, broadband and telephone. IPTVmakes life simpler for the end user as a single service provider is providing all the services: TV, Broadband and telephone. So you will get a combined bill for all.
