摘要

We investigated the effects of sample support on laser desorption/ionization mass spectrometry (LDI-MS) for fullerene C60 that is deposited onto various materials (stainless steel, glass, aluminum foil, floppy disc foil, carbon film, platinum nanoparticles, titanium dioxide nanoparticles, zirconium oxide nanoparticles). Our results using LDI showed that commercial aluminum foil sample supports are the best for high sensitivity (i.e. a detection limit of approximately 8 fmol). For quantitative LDI analyses of fullerenes, perfluorodecyltric hlorosilane(PFDS)-modified aluminum foil was used, where the calibration curve can be obtained using a linear dynamic response range (5 ng/mL-200 ng/mL), with R~2 = 0.999.
