摘要

The use of simulation and control in our curriculum is spelled out in the standards. One way to achieve these standards would be through the incorporation of virtual reality robotic technology. Through the infusion of virtual robotics into the curriculum we can not only increase the level of technological literacy of our students, we can also help prepare them for future careers in technology and engineering. For now, virtual reality software for robotics is in its infancy stage, but as an increasing number of companies recognize VR technology's advantages for training and programming, it has the potential to become the industry standard.
