Creative enterprise as a solution vector for twenty first century problems

The new century has brought with it new and even more challenging problems than ever before. Many state that the major global challenges are to be found in health, water, food, energy and environmental concerns highlighted by global warming [1,3,14]. Further, that these problems have a variety of local expressions in both emerging and established economies [8,17,22]. Moreover, solutions to these problems are exceptionally constrained by societal concern and government policies like the precautionary principal [4,21]. Our organization was focused on solving the challenge of improving the quantity and quality of food for a rapidly growing world population.
