Slower growth in China still outstrips that in the rest of the world

China's 12th Five-year Plan (2011 to 2015) emphasizes the need for products with improved quality, the exploitation of technology and encourages innovation. Its goals, therefore, create an opportunity for the industrial textiles sector to develop and explore more end-use markets. Consequently, compared with the other parts of the textiles industry, the industrial textiles sector is developing at a faster pace and its participants are confident of a bright future.
