PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a tablet containing a Chinese orthodox medicine and having a short disintegrating time.;SOLUTION: A mixture is obtained by mixing a Chinese orthodox medicine powder with a powdery calcium silicate in (1:1) to (20:1) weight ratio and adding an excipient thereto. Water is then added to the resultant mixture to granulate a granule according to a wet granule compression method. A disintegrating agent and a lubricant are subsequently added to the granule and mixed therewith to afford a granule for tableting. A tablet is then produced from the granule for tableting using a tableting machine.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
