摘要

An additive for textiles and coatings has been shown to be highly effective against enveloped viruses, such as SARS-Cov-2, in independent testing. The silicate- and silver-based additive -called ADINS Protection S10 and developed byTolsa of Madrid, Spain - has been shown to reduce viral load by up to 99.99% over both short and long periods when tested according to European Standard EN 14476.The additive also demonstrates bactericidal, fungicidal and algicidal activity. It provides this protection when incorporated into water-or solvent-based coatings at dosages of 0.25-1.00% by weight.
