In addition to some good tips for pulling electrical cable, "Building Skills" in the July issue (FHB #236) recommends using a 1∕2-in. heavy-duty right-angle drill for drilling holes in studs. I agree that a right-angle drill is the best tool for the job, but I think it is also important to mention that these drills have a lot of torque. Even burly electricians who use this type of tool all day can have their wrist or arm broken when a foreign object like a screw or nail is encountered.
