Comment on: Actinomycotic Infection of the Abdominal Wall Mimicking a Malignant Neoplasm by Yi et al.

We read with interest the publication by Yi et al. [1] about an actinomycotic infection of the abdominal wall mimicking a malignant neoplasm. Recently, we had a similar patient who had a mass causing confusion with a cecal tumor. A 37-year-old Turkish female presented with an abdominal mass that she had realized was present two weeks before. She had a history of 12 pregnancies (five abortions), gave birth to her last child four months earlier, and had never used an intrauterine device (IUD).
