Parastomal hernia repair using cross-linked porcine dermis: Report of a case

摘要

Parastomal hernia is not an uncommon complication nafter colostomy or ileostomy formation, but it may have nserious consequences, such as intestinal obstruction and nstrangulation. Thus, the surgeon must repair the para-nstomal hernia using a technique that minimizes the nchance of recurrence and complications. This case nreport describes a novel method of parastomal hernia nrepair using cross-linked acellular porcine dermal col-nlagen matrix, a new biological material suitable for nhernia repair.
