Increased Capacity Forhit Solar Cells

Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. has announced that it will increase the production capacity for its HIT solar cells. The Japanese manufacturer will build new production facilities in its Nishikinohama factory in Kai-zuka City, Osaka, where Sanyo already produces its proprietary HIT solar cells. Construction works are scheduled to be finished in October 2009, production is to start in 2010.
