Not a luxury

Three new luxury hotels in South Africa, Turkey and Dubai are using solar heat to provide their guests with enough hot water. The solar system is not a luxury here, however, as it should lower the energy costs considerably.To a lot of people solar thermal heating is an unknown technology: at least they think so. Even if they do not have a solar thermal instal-lation themselves, they may still have used water heated by the sun, in a hotel where they have stayed, for example.
