Some like it big, some like it hot

At this year's Eurosun 2012 conference we learned that the use of solar thermal technology can be very diverse. Solar process heating offers an especially wide range of applications, which can be used to heat up chillies or cool a beer. This year's Eurosun convention was held in the beautiful coastal town of Opatija, Croatia. Participants enjoyed beautiful views of the ocean while networking in the coffee breaks. Attendants came from a whole range of sectors - from researchers, academics and graduate students of renewable technologies to manufacturers, owners of relevant institutions, importers and distributors of renewable technologies, employees of local energy agencies and other market players.
