Shortly before Christmas the share price of the solar power plant developer Solar Millennium AG plunged down to the basement level of penny stocks. The reason: the management of the company from Erlangen had applied for bankruptcy at Fuerth district court. At first glance, Solar Millennium was simply unlucky. The sales negotiations for the world's largest solar project in Blythe/USA with solarhybrid AG took too long and now the company is bankrupt. Insiders suspect, however, that a plan drawn up by US lobbyists some time ago to squeeze the Germans out of the Califomian desert has now succeeded.
