A lobby phone apparatus and a method for remotely controlling automatic doors in a lobby phone apparatus are provided to reduce an installation cost by removing the necessity of an installation construction and be utilized as a portable inter-phone. A mother device(100) gives a specific frequency to each house to use it as a particular address. When the mother device receives a desired house number of a resident from a visitor, it calls a specific frequency corresponding to the inputted house number and transmits it via a power line(20) to communicate with the resident of the corresponding house number. A child device(200) performs bi-directional communication with the mother device by houses to perform the visitor, generates an automatic door opening/closing signal, and transmits it via the power line to remotely control an automatic door(10).
