Three varieties (SSV 84, SSV 74 and CSV 19 SS) with one hybrid (CSH 22 SS) of sweet sorghum were evaluated for their stalk yield, juice yield, sugar content and ethanol yield at different rive sowing dates stats from 1st June to 1st August and at 15 days interval for increase harvest window. The sowing period from 1st June to 30 June was found suitable for getting highest stalk yield, juice yield and sugar content and also sweet sorghum hybrid CSH 22 SS was found promising for juice quality attributes followed by CSV 199 SS and SSV 84. In sweet sorghum stalk deterioration study it was found that the harvested stalks must be processed for juice parameters within 24 h to avoid the juice and sugar losses.
