摘要

Two types of effective damping systems were installed on the Dentsu high-rise tower, which has an asymmetric plan, to cope with the different behavior of the frames under lateral forces and to allow for optimum safety against large earthquakes. In addition, the pair of Hybrid-Tuned-Mass-Dampers improves occupant comfort under strong winds. The monitoring of the building demonstrates that the Hybrid-Tuned-Mass-Dampers are working effectively as initially designed.
