State-of-the-art Bridge Deck Erection-Safe and Efficient Use of Special Equipment

The Seminar "State-of-the-art BridgeDeckErection:SafeandEfficient Use of Special Equipment", organised by Working Group 6 (WG 6) on Bridge Construction Equipment on November 15 and 16,2010, was a great success. It responded to the needs of many by facilitating an exchange on this topic and attracted 179 participants from 35 countries. Participants were not only from the East Asian region but also came from as far as Brazil, Mexico, USA, Egypt, Portugal, Denmark and Switzerland. 46 participants returned the online evaluation form, with mostly favourable comments and valuable suggestions for future topics for the Working Group.
