SN. 'Technical Groups in a Nutshell' is a series presenting Working Commissions and Working Groups of IABSE through short interviews with their Chairs. What is the objective of WC 11 Our goal is to promote sustainability as a critical pillar in structural engineering. We also assist practicing engineers and academic researchers in understanding the challenges and opportunities of sustainability within structural design. Our focus covers the social, economic and environmental aspects of sustainability.
