There are a number of paradoxes in business that often take some explaining - and can really get under the skin of those who fail to have the same success despite seemingly doing everything right. For example, how do you explain the fact that in a 2018 ranking, the two most valuable sporting franchises were the Dallas Cowboys and Manchester United, two teams which have singularly failed to win anything of note in several years? Why should teams be worth more than anyone else when other teams -such as the New England Patriots or Real Madrid - have had sustained success in recent years?
