Book review-Microfinance: Battling a wicked problem

Too often, researchers are conducting projects one after the other without ever marking a stop to think about the path they have been following and the way it is influencing the road ahead. Arvind Ashta is not like that and the book he published some months ago is a real proof of this. Indeed, after 10 years of very active and prolific research and teaching in microfinance, he has written an essay that looks back to his studies in order to sort out what are the key questions and learnings that have been generated not only by himself but also by the whole community of researchers in microfinance. For anyone who is interested in research in this field, no doubt this will be a very stimulating reading.
