The article is a trial to verify reciprocal influences between inflation and inflation expectations surveying by testing method in 12 countries of the Eurosystem in the period of January 1991 — June 2005. Received results of econometric analysis give a base for drawing a conclusion about impact of households' inflation expectations on base inflation. It is supposed that households' inflation expectations are not modelled under influence of base inflation. Additionally results of surveys suggest a lack of influences between households' inflation expectations and HICP inflation. Next, connection of PPI inflation with producers' inflation expectations can be described as a two-direction casual and effect relation.
