Sir, I've read with interest the recent articles and correspondence regarding the bookstall price of Spaceflight, and whether increasing that price will encourage potential members to join the British Interplanetary Society (BIS).rnThe question of 'spreading the net wider' and holding meetings outside London raised in CD Lee's letter and Bob Parkinson's response (Spaceflight, December 2009) are also welcome contributions to making the society more accessible to members.rnMoving more meetings outside of London would go someway to addressing the problem of making meetings more accessible to members outside the capital.
