Maiden honour for morale-boosting medic

An Army nurse who showed "great empathy and understanding" has been rewarded for her work caring for soldiers wounded in Afghanistan.rnSgt Kes Bradley (RAMC, pictured) won the unsung hero category of the inaugural Morale Awards, an event organised by The British Forces Foundation (BFF). Katherine Jenkins, a trustee of the charity, presented the prize to the medic at a ceremony in London hosted by Gethin Jones.
