DESPITE extensive efforts by Kosher Australia to continue Kosher certification of Sanitarium foods, including the big-selling Up&Go liquid breakfast range and So Good soy drinks, the arrangement has lapsed after more than 40 years of what has been described as 'a mutually respectful and cooperative relationship'. This has caused some angst and disappointment among those in the Australian Jewish community who eat Kosher. While specific numbers of these are unknown, it is believed to be a sizable market.
