Warren Benfield is a Research Fellow at the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies, University of the West Indies, Mona. Michael Brei is a doctoral candidate in economics at Bonn Graduate School of Economics. Miriela Carolina is employed in the Research Department of the Central Bank of the Netherlands, Antilles. Francesca Castellani is an economist at the Inter-American Development Bank. Prior to joining the IADB, she also worked at the World Bank and at the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in Geneva. She holds a PhD in Economics from The Graduate Institute of International Studies (IUHEI-GIIS), University of Geneva, Switzerland.
