December natural gas futures settled the Friday, Nov. 25, trading session at $3.542/MMBtu, up 8.2 cents while spanning $3.415/MMBtu to $3.549/MMBtu through the session in short-covering ahead of the contract's expiration at the close of Monday, Nov. 28, trade. Colder weather forecasts and a slowdown in storage building helped feed the advance.
