Comverge Inc. CEO R. Blake Young made an aggressive case dur-ning a March 16 earnings conference call that, based on 2011 per-nformance, the demand response provider stands “on the precipice nof becoming a profitable company.” On the same call, Young also nacknowledged that Comverge’s precarious liquidity position raises nsignificant questions as to the company’s ability to continue operat-ning as a going concern.
