NRC delays issuance of San Onofre nuke restart decision

The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has bumped back to May the ntime frame for when it expects to issue a decision on the restart plan nfor unit 2 at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station in California.nAccording to its San Onofre review website page, updated as of nJan. 25, the NRC in late April will make public its inspection report of nthe unit, which along with unit 3 has been down since January 2012 ndue to tubal wear issues in the steam generators.
