Improved coking coal prices spur New Age to restart work at Lochinvar project

New Age Exploration Ltd. is restarting operations at its Lochinvar coking coal project in the U.K. due to a strong increase in the price and demand of hard coking coal. According to a Nov. 14 statement, the benchmark spot price for hard coking coal has increased by over 300% during the year, to the current price of US$307 per tonne freight-on-board Australia.
