In a win for the Trump administration, the U.S. Court of Appeals for thernDistrict of Columbia Circuit has placed a 60-day hold on litigation addressingrnthe Clean Power Plan and new source rules as requested.rnIn the meantime, the court has asked the parties to the case to advisernwhether the carbon-cutting rules for fossil fuel power plants should bernremanded back to the U.S. EPA, or held in abeyance. Briefs to that effect arerndue May 15.
