Getting the Shot: Advanced MPEG-4 AVC Encoding and Robust COFDM Modulation Deliver HD-ENG

Advanced, low-latency MPEG-4 AVC HD codecs, coupled with the appropriate DVB-T modulation and EEC parameters, allow news teams to use the production techniques traditionally used in SD-ENG, such as field-to-studio interviews and multiple camera feeds, in HD-ENG, without jeopardizing the quality of the production or the integrity of the HD signal. The goal is to provide an ENG news team with the tools that allow them to cover live news events in HD and with high confidence in "getting the shot" back to the studio.
