In the midst of the summer heat and the craziness that has gripped our country (the pandemic, social unrest and uprisings, mob violence and political nuttiness), something happened that appeared to bringaray of sunshine to thefire-arms industry. After more than 18 years, the U.S. Department of State rescinded its policy of denial that prevented U.S. companies from exporting suppressors to most commercial end-users. Because of this policy, the only permissible exports were to military or offi-cialend-users in countries friendly to the U.S.
