This is an absolutely superb book which the reviewer has thoroughly enjoyed spending many hours just studying the fine detail of colour images of the well known railway photographer, R.C. 'Dick' Riley.rnThe dust jacket pcture but more pointedly the title page depicting Churchward 2-8-0 4705 departing Paddington, under the Westbourne Bridge, with the 1.25pm to Kingswear on 27 August 1960 and the Introduction with King 4-6-0 6023 King Edward II reposing at RanelaghrnBridge before taking the 1.55pm 'Capitals United Express' to South Wales, sets the standard of the rest of the book.
