This is an important little book, in that it provides an authoritative and in part, original review of the people who made significant contributions in the life of the single most important developer of early steam engineering. So it should, the author has long been the Chair of the Trevithick Society who, by their combined application and skills, have put the man, (Richard Trevithick), Cornish Industrial History and their society; squarely in the public eye.
