Rear Adm. Antonio Gameiro Marques, PON

Rear Adm. Antonio Gameiro Marques, PON, is the chief information officer for the Portuguese Navy. After completing the Portuguese Navy Naval Academy in 1981, he served on board frigates and patrol boats. In January 1987, he finished a Master of Science program in electrical and computer engineering in the Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California. From September 2004 to October 2007, he was appointed to the Portuguese Delegation to NATO as the military counselor of the ambassador of Portugal to NATO, representing Portugal on several NATO committees.
